Saturday November 21st, 2009, Angelus WinterGuard hosted their first FMA IW Home Show, The Heavens Gate Invitational.
4 other World Class Guards attended the competition, as well as 2 Open Class, and 8 A Class.
The Wirewomen took first in A Class, scoring a 92.425.
Guard of the Valley won Open Class with a 89.140.
Angelus WG placed 3rd in World Class, scoring a 82.555.
The past 2 shows that Angelus has competed in, they have posted perfect scores in the Effect Performance Caption. They were the first IW Guard to do so this season. Congrats to the Guard.
The Guard is currently ranked 15th in World Class, just 3 spots shy of a FMA IW Finals Spot. This would be a marvelous achievement for Angelus in their first season in FMA. Hopefully they can perform at a high enough level to pass the 3 guards ahead of them and make it into Finals. Either way, this season will go down as a HUGE success for the first year ensemble, and I look forward to next season with extreme amounts of anticipation.
